In 1974, Benjamin moved with his family to Hawaii. Benjamin returned to the area he always considered home in 1982 to attend The Evergreen State College and graduated in 1986. Benjamin became a licensed realtor in Seattle in 1985 and achieved associate broker status in 1990. In 1986, Benjamin began listing and selling homes, condominiums, vacant land and small apartment buildings with The Landmark Group.
Benjamin has been a top producer since the early 1990's, and he has been in the top 1% of real estate producers for all realtors in King County since 1996. As of 2008, Benjamin has been associated with Gerrard Beattie and Knapp, LLC.
